Game: Shining Force III (Scenarios 2 and 3, and Premium Disk)
Materials used: I used white fake silk and green ribbon for the clothing, green ribbon and white pleather for the belt. Wonderflex, glue and spraypaint for the cuffs, crown, collar and crotch plate, a Christmas tree ornament for the purple orb, and various beads. The Ankh Staff was made from a flagpole, quilting hoop, plastic gems, spraypaint, Wonderflex, and a cardboard logo saying “Sega Saturn”, because of an in-joke that Hedva can summon Segata Sanshiro, the Japanese Saturn mascot who beats people into submission for not actively playing Sega Saturn ;-P.
Fun facts: Her name can also be spelled Hedoba or Hedova, depending on the translation. Technically this was not my first crossplay, but it was my first good one! I was in a weird phase where I used a lot of fabric glue rather than sewing to make this cosplay. If I made it today, I would have used my sewing machine, but I still think it came out great.
