What, a dedicated cosplay website?! In the 2020’s?! Yeah, I know it’s a little dated, and I don’t care. Among other things social media is toxic, and Instagram (the only public site close to being usable for cosplay) is still annoying for sharing photos to to non-users, and has tons of drama/bugs/bots/and an annoying algorithm. My first convention was New York Anime Festival in 2007, but I’ve technically been cosplaying for Halloween long before. I didn’t start to make my own cosplays till about 2013, and I don’t think I really started to get good till around 2019, when I won my first cosplay award. I’m generally a friendly person, so feel free to say hi to me at a con and talk to me about JRPGs or whatever! I mainly cosplay fabulous characters, both female and male. I have also won 6 cosplay Awards to date.
All cosplays presented here are 40-90% made by me. I also do my own makeup. Most wigs that I buy are from Epic Cosplay Wigs or Arda Wigs, my elf ears are from Aradani studios, and any colored contacts are from Pinky-Paradise. Most of my cosplay swords are wooden swords from Hickory Arms or E-BOGU, with painting and decoration added by me. Little G (my Ghaleon punching puppet, an official preorder item for one of the PS1 versions of Lunar) frequently appears in my Lunar pics. No AI is used in any photos/cosplays here!
Likes: cosplay, JRPGs (Japanese role-playing games), SRPGs (strategic role-playing games), fantasy (western and eastern), East Asian history and culture, hiking in nature (and cleaning up litter along the way), adventure games, drawing/art, anime/manga, JRR Tolkien, Mishima Yukio, ancient civilizations, Rock and Classical music (Queen are my favorite band.)
In particular, a few of my favorite turn-based/turn-based adjacent RPGs include Lunar: Silver Star and Eternal Blue, Final Fantasy IV/VI/VII/X, Xenogears, Chrono Trigger, Shining: The Holy Ark, Panzer Dragoon Saga, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic I/II, Skies of Arcadia, Radiant Historia, and Phantasy Star Generation: 1/IV. My favorite SRPGs include Shining Force III, Wachenröder, Langrisser I/II, Fire Emblem: Awakening, and Dragon Force.
To date, I have made 11 cosplays from the Lunar series (8 from Silver Star, 2 from Eternal Blue, 1 that appears in both), with more planned. I am, beyond any reasonable doubt, the most prolific Lunar cosplayer, ever.
I’m also a believer in putting the “roleplay” back in “cosplay”. Too often I feel people neglect it in favor of solely the “costume” aspect. I have many parody videos of myself acting in-character while in cosplay linked on this website.
Note on photo credits: Many of the photos on this website are taken by family members who have zero interest in social media. I always credit any other cosplayers in a group shot. Whenever I have a professional shoot, I credit the photogapher. Unless otherwise indicated, all credits are for the person’s Instagram name. For concept art pics, I name the artist, and costume designer/actor if it’s a character from a live action source.
