Anime: Record of Lodoss War

Materials used: The dress was made of green stretch knit, with gold trim freehand embroidered on top. The armor was my first time using EVA foam (sheet and half circle dowel forms) and plasti-dip. I had to make a custom breastplate pattern to make it fit right (thanks for the tutorial, Kinpatsu cosplay!) The final product was spraypainted, with the half circle dowels glued on after. I made the cape from orange and blue fabric on each side. It attaches with velcro straps tied in the front. The sword is from Hickory Arms, I spraypainted it in sections with tape to get different colors, and glued on the jewel. The scabbard was made of wonderflex and painted by me. The earrings are hoops I painted gold, then I made dangling gems from wonderflex and painted them many colors. The diadem is made from glass beads and golden wire. The belts for the sword to attach to were made from pleather, with wonderflex designs painted gold, and glued on. Similar pieces of painted wonderflex were used for the necklace, held on with a ribbon. The arm bracers were made from linen and Christmas tree wrappings, which were also added to the boots (hooray for reusing instead of throwing things away!)

Fun facts: When Deedlit chastised Parn for attempting to practice his swordsmanship on a living tree, it was waifu love at first sight for me. This is probably my most complex cosplay to date.
