Anime: Record of Lodoss War
Materials used: The dress was made from satin, a zipper in the back, and boning at the top to make it stay on. I had to make a custom pattern for it (I’ve never had luck with store-bought patterns.) The bandana and belt were red ribbon embroidered with gold trim. On the belt specifically, I looked up how to write “Deedlit” as best as I could in Middle Egyptian hieroglyphics, and drew it with a golden pen, in a cartouche. The orbs were made from Christmas tree ornaments. The Egyptian collar was made from EVA foam (sheet and half circle dowels), pasti-dip, spraypaint, and contact cement. The earrings were reused from my normal Deedlit outfit.
Fun facts: It’s Deedlit’s clubbing outfit! No, not really (neither of us actually go clubbing XD). I’m not a fan of her being paralyzed and about to be sacrificed to revive the dark goddess Kardis the entire time she wore this, but it’s such a hot design, and with those Egyptian motifs, I just had to make it.
